As the world approaches New Year’s Eve 2023, the wedding numbers are staggering. With the acknowledgement that this year, December 31, 2023 creates the pattern, 123-123 for the date, 12-31-23, couples have already secured their marriage licenses and reservations for their BIG DAY.
Since the wedding capital of the world is also the entertainment capital of the world, this year is going out with a bang. Lynn Goya, Clark County Clerk and leader of the Marriage Bureau shared at our recent Membership Information Event last month, “2024 is going to be an Engagement Year. We are going to see wedding ceremonies dip for the first time in the past few years, and we are going to see an uptick in engagements.” With that being said, we can expect 2025 and 2026 to be a marriage license and wedding celebration rebound.
This information is the driving force for exemplifying why business networking groups such as the Vegas Wedding Chamber of Commerce are so integral to a business’s marketing strategy. It is a hard fact, that as soon as companies see a dip in revenue, they begin to cut marketing efforts – which is the number one reason why a company should not stop their marketing initiatives in a down turn. Marketing your business through tough or slow times keeps your brand relevant, engaged, and in the forefront of the mind of other wedding professionals who will refer you when the time is right.
Being a member of the Vegas Wedding Chamber is not only a fun and engaging experience, your company name is also listed on a directory of wedding professionals that is accessible to all couples inside the Marriage License Bureau. This means, that all couples who receive Clark County issued marriage licenses will then have the opportunity to find qualified and respected wedding vendors to help create their special day the moment that they step away from the counter after receiving their license.
This is an opportunity that is as easy as 123!
The Vegas Wedding Chamber has also just unveiled the newest annual event to start in January 2024 – the Las Vegas Wedding Awards, where members are prompted to nominate other members in the Vegas Wedding Chamber for distinguished categories. Voting ends December 15, 2023, and further details on the awards ceremony will be released in the coming weeks for a late January 2024 date. If you haven't submitted your nominations yet, GO VOTE NOW!
Membership for the Vegas Wedding Chamber is less than $200 with the market place placement, which is a new add-on to the Vegas Wedding Chamber site, or only $150 with the traditional membership. There is also an associate membership, which is for organizations which support the wedding community while not being a wedding vendor.
Membership includes educational events, networking mixers, parties, and more – not to mention, we host the State of the Wedding Industry alongside the Clark County Clerks office each year, and have our ear to the ground on all things weddings.
So – it’s easy to see why becoming a member of the Vegas Wedding Chamber is as easy as 123! Join today to get ahead of the engagement year, and start your marketing efforts more strategic, with an organization that has your best interest in mind. Members receive free marketing benefits such as email and social media spotlights, blog and backlink opportunities, trade opportunities for wedding pro events, and more.
